To plan and carry out sales activities, to maintain and develop sales of IPL group’s product range to current and potential customers within the South East of Ireland.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by phone, in writing and/or personal visits
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
  • Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory according to an agreed market development strategy
  • Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins according to terms agreed with management
  • Integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advising and exhibitions
  • Issue relevant sales paperwork to facilitate order processing
  • Liaise with in-house sales support team and with other departments as necessary, to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and provide relevant information to management
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
  • Attend and contribute to company sales meetings to aid business development
  • Utilise and maintain CRM data
  • Any other reasonable duty as requested by management
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Full driving license is required along with 3yrs+ proven experience in sales. A third level mechanical/electrical engineering qualification or equivalent is desirable.

    The Purchasing and Sales Support role will work provide administrative and operational support to the sales and service teams. This role will involve providing purchasing functions and liaising with the service team to ensure timely delivery of goods and service work orders.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure jobs orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company's service management system.
  • Process purchase orders based on requests from various departments.
  • Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
  • Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, obtain quotes, and resolve any issues.
  • Communicate with customers to answer questions, provide information, and resolve issues.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as logistics and accounting to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Assist the sales team in generating quotes and order processing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in sales support or customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
