This Returns and Refunds Policy ("Policy") applies to goods purchased from IPL group ("we", "us", "our") through our website (iplgroup.com, the "Site") or other distance selling means. We are committed to ensuring our customers are satisfied with their purchases and aim to comply fully with Irish and EU consumer protection legislation.
If you are a consumer purchasing from within the European Union, you have a statutory right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days without giving any reason. This "cooling-off" period expires 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You can contact us at:
IPL group
Slane Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth, A92 H286
Email: info@ipl.ie
Phone: +353 (0)41 983 2591
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
If you cancel your contract under the cooling-off period, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction (e.g., via Stripe for online payments, or bank transfer/card refund for other methods), unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Goods must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and in a resalable condition, unless otherwise agreed.
The right to cancel does not apply to the following kinds of contracts:
Contracts for the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised (customised products).
We will inform you if any items in your order are non-cancellable/non-refundable before you complete your purchase.
We take great care to ensure our products are finished to an excellent standard and reach you in perfect condition. However, if you receive goods that are faulty, were damaged in transit, or are not the items you ordered, please contact us immediately, and preferably within 48 hours of receipt, using the contact details provided above.
Your rights regarding faulty or misdescribed goods are protected under Irish and EU consumer law. Our goods are heavy and robust; minor superficial or cosmetic issues that do not affect the structural integrity, functionality, or fitness for purpose of the product may not be considered a fault. However, if you believe your item is faulty, please provide us with details and, if possible, photographic evidence.
We will discuss the issue with you and may request that you return the item. If we agree the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will offer a suitable remedy, which may include a repair, replacement, or a full refund (including any reasonable return shipping costs you incurred).
If we arrange for the return of faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, we will cover the cost of such return shipping.
To return any goods (whether under the cooling-off period or due to a fault), please contact us first to discuss the return and make arrangements. Unsolicited returns may not be accepted or may experience delays in processing.
Please ensure that goods are securely packaged for return to prevent damage in transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during their return transit to us (unless we have arranged the collection).
Goods must be returned to the address we specify.
Proof of purchase will be required for all returns and refunds.
We reserve the right to update this Returns and Refunds Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
