In many cities and towns, achieving the optimum location and foundation depth for lighting columns and other posts is often restricted by congested pavements, cellars, and other underground services.

RSe193sf sockets were used for the installation of nine-metre high, ornate lighting columns in Terenure on Dublin’s Southside. These 300mm deep, shallow foundation sockets did not interfere with the existing services at the selected site locations. Foundation calculations and sizes were provided by IPL group using proprietary Retention System™ software, and an approved contractor, Tarstone, carried out all civil works.
