Recently, in Douglas, the pole-mounted red lifebuoys along the promenade and seafront were upgraded and reinstalled using RS76 sockets. This ensures that essential maintenance and future replacement of this critical infrastructure can be carried out without repeat installation costs, excavation, or disruption.
