In Walshestown, County Louth, IPL group worked with Louth County Council on access and parking control solutions for Walshestown Church.
The popular Glyde bollard was selected from the Irish-made range of RIVERS street furniture and installed in Retention System™ sockets. The RIVERS street furniture range is known for its choice of co-ordinated classical and modern styles that offer design, identity, and security for every location.
At Walshestown Church, the Glyde bollards were installed in RS76 sockets and locked in place. This solution both addresses dangerous roadside parking and secures the church grounds from vehicle access. When required, the bollards can be easily removed to allow authorised vehicle access. On these occasions—when the bollards are not in place—all RS sockets are securely plugged with an integrated plug that is flush with the ground to facilitate the safe movement of vehicles, pedestrian safety, and ease of access for all churchgoers.
