Kilmainham Gaol is a popular heritage attraction in Dublin. In 2015, a joint Dublin City Council and Office of Public Works project aimed to improve the public realm and pedestrian facilities in this historic area. The stated aims included street furniture clutter reduction and an enhanced visitor and resident experience.
