At a busy intersection on the L3019 outside Frankfurt, Germany, IPL group’s RS115 sockets were used to install replacement traffic signals. IPL group's versatile and robust RS socket foundations not only simplify installation practices but also assist asset owners and operators with management and maintenance requirements.

Excavation to remove the old pole and install the new RS socket foundation was completed before the new traffic signal pole was brought to the site. Cables were drawn up through the RS socket for a temporary traffic signal, and the site was left ready for the new pole's later installation. This two-part process allowed for fewer workers and less equipment on-site at all times and a clean, efficiently managed environment for both the foundation work and the cabling of the traffic signal pole.
