RS115df sockets were used to install traffic signals on controlled pedestrian crossings as part of the Frascati Road/Temple Hill Route Improvement Scheme. This urban dual carriageway handles high traffic volumes while also accommodating significant cyclist and pedestrian movements between the Frascati and Blackrock shopping centres.
Improved junction legibility, infrastructure reliability, and safety for all road users were key aims of the scheme. The installation of traffic signals in IPL group's Retention System™ socket foundations ensures quick and reliable maintenance, with traffic signal poles (TSPs) able to be replaced without excavation and with minimal disruption to the public.
