RS sockets are used throughout Cork city to ensure street furniture can be easily maintained and damaged posts replaced without any further excavation.

In 2010, IPL group supplied X-Last flexible bollards for installation into existing RS115 sockets along Caroline Street to replace damaged stainless steel bollards. These flexible polymer bollards are extremely durable, designed to bend under vehicle impact without damaging the bollard or vehicle, and will return to their original shape. X-Last bollards are also available in a range of styles and finishes to suit all street designs.
