The STAKKAbox™ Modula is a lightweight, structural network access chamber system from IPL group, manufactured by Cubis Systems, a CRH Company. Made from Polypropylene (PP) , it is designed for use in various sectors, including both footway and carriageway installations. The system consists of 150mm deep ring sections which are stacked on top of each other to reach the desired depth. Each ring section is castellated to positively interlock with the unit above and below. Modula chambers are designed to significantly reduce installation costs through time savings, with complete installations typically taking up to one hour. Sections are available with duct entry holes or solid walls, and come pre-drilled with easily knocked-out duct caps for quick connection. The STAKKAbox™ system boasts a high strength-to-weight ratio due to its unique patented twin wall design with internal vertical and horizontal support ribs[cite: 73]. This innovative technology allows each STAKKAbox™ Modula Chamber to withstand a vertical load in excess of 40 Tonnes (D400 equivalent), ensuring it meets loading requirements up to B125 in various installation environments as per EN124 standards.
The STAKKAbox™ Modula is suitable for a wide range of applications, including:
