The Dublin docklands development, which included the Luas Red Line extension, saw the upgrade and redesign of Mayor Street from Grand Canal Dock through Spencer Dock and onto the Point Depot.

Among the RS sockets used in the development were RS140 sockets for the installation of dual-purpose CCTV security camera and traffic signal posts. The use of RS sockets along this high-profile street ensures posts can be maintained and damaged posts replaced easily and quickly without any further excavation.
