TurBiScat PM 40 Datasheet
The TurBiScat PM 40 is an in-line turbidimeter designed for measuring turbidity in beverages, with an option to also measure colour in beer, conforming to MEBAK, EBC, and ASBC standards. This allows the TurBiScat to function additionally as an in-line colour meter. The combination of Hastelloy and Sapphire in a sealless design enables use in virtually all process applications. The TurBiScat PM 40 determines turbidity with optimum colour compensation using scattered light measurement and is compliant with MEBAK/EBC.
The photometer measures stray light at angles of both 90° and 25°. The instrument's dual-angle measurement makes it widely applicable in breweries from the brewhouse to the filter cellar, over pressure tanks to filling stations. The operation of the sensor is monitored continuously. Calibration is easily performed using a secondary reference standard.
The TurBiScat PM 40 features a new, fresh design with an integrated coloured touchscreen display. This makes the TurBiScat PM 40 easily identifiable in the production line. Measurement values and curves, as well as data status, are shown directly at the point of measurement. A checking unit is also integrated, eliminating the need for an additional device. This simplifies installation and reduces power consumption. Data security has been enhanced.
