Product Overview

The System 2000 - Coupling (No. 0430 Connector) is a push socket system designed for high-tensile restraint connections with both PE (PE 80/100, EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (EN ISO 1452-2). This coupling features a unique lip seal ring that allows for easier insertion of the pipe into the socket, and a robust pipe restraining system that securely pushes the pipe into the seal and chamfer. It offers an absolutely restraint connection, making it highly reliable for demanding pipeline applications. For PE pipes with thin walls (SDR 21) and low internal pressure, using a support liner is recommended. The coupling is manufactured from ductile iron with a brass grip ring and stainless steel hexagonal bolts, ensuring durability and long-term performance.

Installation & Maintenance

• Pipe installation involves chamfering the pipe and using lubricant (not oil).
• Push the pipe firmly to the end of the socket.
• Tighten the lock ring bolts crosswise until the lock ring is tight on bushes. Adhere to the maximum tightening torque for the lock ring.
• For PE pipes with thin walls (SDR 21) and low internal pressure, using a support liner is recommended.
• For dismantling, loosen and remove lock ring bolts, then twist and withdraw the pipe.
