Installation & Maintenance

• Installation: Designed for straightforward retrofitting into asphalt, tarmac, concrete, or timber.
  1. Pre-mark and clean (sweep) the path.
  2. Core/mill an 80mm diameter hole to a depth of 30mm, clean out debris (a hand-held leaf blower is highly effective), and dry fit the unit to verify depth.
  3. Apply the two-component all-weather epoxy adhesive into the bottom of the milled hole.
  4. Insert and align the Solareye80 unit, pressing it down firmly until the lip sits flush (6mm above surface). The path can typically be reopened to foot traffic within 30 to 60 minutes of curing.
• Maintenance: Zero routine maintenance required. The solar-powered battery charges automatically in daylight (even in overcast weather), and rain naturally cleans the flat, skid-resistant dome.
