The SITRANS LR550 is a continuous radar level transmitter featuring a polymeric horn antenna. It is capable of continuously monitoring solids or liquids up to a range of 120 metres (394 ft). Its lightweight design makes it suitable for open-air applications and for inventory measurement in silos and vessels, as well as for monitoring river levels.

Installation

• The device can be installed using either a ceiling or wall mounting.
• Nozzle mounting has specific restrictions depending on the nozzle diameter and height.
• For nozzles with an 80 mm (3") diameter, the height must be no more than 400 mm (15.8").
• For nozzles with a 100 mm (4") diameter, the height must be no more than 500 mm (19.7").
• For nozzles with a 150 mm (6") diameter, the height must be no more than 800 mm (31.5").
