The SITRANS FM MAG 1100 F is an electromagnetic flow sensor designed to meet the demanding applications of the food and beverage industry. Features & Construction

• Design: The sensor is available in both compact and remote versions.
• Materials: The sensor housing is made of AISI 316 stainless steel. Liner materials can be PFA or Ceramic. Gasket materials include EPDM, FPM/FKM, and NBR.
• Process Connections: The sensor is compatible with a wide range of hygienic connections, including weld-in, clamp-type, and threaded-type fittings conforming to various standards like DIN, ISO, SMS, and BS.
• Integration: The complete flowmeter consists of the sensor and a separate transmitter, such as the SITRANS FM MAG 5000, 6000, or 6000 I.

Technical Specifications

• Sensor Sizes: DN 10 to DN 100 (3/8" to 4").
• Operating Pressure: For ceramic-lined sensors, pressure is 40 bar for DN 10-65, and 25 bar for DN 80-100. For PFA-lined sensors, the pressure is 20 bar.
• Temperature of Medium: -20 to 150°C for ceramic-lined sensors and -30 to 130°C for PFA-lined sensors.

Installation & Maintenance

• For compact installations with a MAG 6000 I or MAG 6000 I Ex transmitter, the transmitter must be supported to avoid tension on the sensor part.
• The sensor's sanitary design allows for CIP/SIP cleaning, simplifying maintenance.
