The SITRANS FM MAG 1100 is an electromagnetic flow sensor with a compact wafer design, engineered for flow applications in the process industry. It features a corrosion-resistant AISI 316 stainless steel sensor housing and highly resistant liners and electrodes, making it suitable for most extreme process media. It is also available in a High Temperature (HT) version for applications up to 200°C (392°F).

Features & Construction

• Design: The sensor features a compact wafer-type design.
• Materials: The sensor housing is made of corrosion-resistant AISI 316 stainless steel. The liner is available in PFA or Ceramic, and the electrodes are available in Hastelloy C22 or Platinum.
• Protection: The standard enclosure rating is IP67, which is hose-proof. An IP68 rating is available as an option.
• Integration: The complete flowmeter consists of the sensor and a separate transmitter (SITRANS FM MAG 5000, 6000, or 6000 I). The system supports various fieldbus protocols such as HART, PROFIBUS, and Modbus.
