The Rambla: Automatic Telescopic Bollard is an automatic hydraulic bollard designed for access control on public roads, communities, and companies. It features a satin-finish AISI-304 stainless steel plunger with dimensions of Ø220 x 600mm height and 8mm thickness. The bollard includes a surface cover, chassis, fasteners, and stainless steel screws for enhanced strength and durability. Its control panel unit is housed in a lockable, watertight metal cabinet, which contains a programmable PLC and protective measures. The design incorporates immediate safety responses for vehicles; when a magnetic loop detects a car or motorcycle, the bollard lowers automatically. For people or other obstacles, a pressure sensor triggers the bollard to lower at the slightest sign of impact. Its design, without internal guides, prevents jamming problems, and the top location of the electrical mechanism protects components from water contact. The Rambla bollard holds an APPLUS impact certificate, based on PAS 68 regulations.
