The Quick-Flex Smart Flexbollard LED, from IPL group, represents the most recent development in Road Signaling. This illuminated reboundable polyurethane bollard incorporates an LED in the top, allowing for effective signaling and alerting in areas of reduced visibility such as walkways, points of divergence, and tight curves. It is suitable for ground-fixed installation and is ideal for lane protection, cycle paths, and upgrades of existing streetscapes. While highly flexible and capable of returning 100% to its original shape after knockdown, it is not intended for the axle of the track due to the rigidity of its upper part.

Installation & Maintenance

• Installation: Designed for easy and fast ground-fixed installation. The process involves drilling a 24mm hole (100mm insertion depth), cleaning it, filling with chemical anchor (e.g., Wurth WIT-PM 200, DeWalt PV45, Sika Anchorfix), and inserting the bollard assembly. For removable use, a 1mm PVC base disc is applied; for permanent use, it is applied without the disc. Curing times depend on the adhesive datasheet. • Maintenance: The highly flexible polyurethane and robust top provide protection against impacts, UV, and thermal degradation. The solar-powered LED system offers high autonomy, minimizing electrical maintenance.
