The MULTI/JOINT® 3000 Plus: Restraint Coupling (3007) is a quick, safe, and simple repair solution for connecting various pipe materials in the ground with a restraint joint. This wide range fitting allows for quick restraint connections between all pipe materials (AC, PE, PVC, Steel, Grey cast iron, Ductile cast iron) without the need for special tools. It features a unique wide range sealing system where all fittings can be made restraint as long as the nominal diameters are the same. The MULTI/JOINT® 3000 Plus system has a range up to 43 mm and connects pipes from 46-637 mm. The high-quality restraint fittings are suitable for applications in water up to 16 bar and in gas up to 8 bar. This system has earned its reputation for quality on the international market over the past 25 years. The fittings are easy to install under all conditions, saving time and stock costs through its "one size fits and grips all" principle. All fittings come with a hygiene protection to prevent contamination or damage, ensuring clean, safe, and durable work. They also feature easily accessible misaligned bolts, allowing installers to easily assess the correctness of their installation in the trench. The fittings have an angularity of ±8° per socket end, meaning a coupling allows a total of maximum 16° angularity.

Features & Construction

• Body: Ductile cast iron GGG45 in accordance with EN-GJS-450-10.
• Clamp ring: Ductile cast iron GGG45 in accordance with EN-GJS-450-10.
• Coating: Resicoat® epoxy powder coating, type RT 9000 R4 (Colour red (RAL 3003), minimum layer thickness 250 micron, in accordance with the GSK-register).
• Sealing system (Uni/Fleks ring or Uni/Fiks ring): Flexible ring consisting of plastic segments (POM or glass fibre filled Polyamide) and a rubber sealing ring (EPDM or NBR).
• Uni/Fiks version supplied with metal grippers (Uni/Fiksers) made of stainless steel A4 (AISI 316).
• Bolts: Stainless steel A2 (AISI 304) or stainless steel A4 (AISI 316), PTFE coated.
• Nuts: Stainless steel A2 (AISI 304) or stainless steel A4 (AISI 316), galvanised and passivated.
• Washers: Stainless steel A2 (AISI 304) or stainless steel A4 (AISI 316).
• Plastic segments in ring sizes DN50 - DN125 consist of one part (POM).
• Plastic segments in ring sizes DN150 - DN600 consist of two parts (wedge made of POM, topple made of polyamide).
• For ring sizes DN450-DN600, a clip is added to fixate the ring in the body.
