Monicon CGS500 Datasheet
The CGS500 Thermocatalytic Gas Sensor is designed to measure combustible gas concentrations in the range 0-100% LEL. It is housed in a rugged stainless steel body and operates using two thermocatalytic elements: an active element where combustible gases oxidise, and a reference element that compensates for changes in temperature and pressure. The use of a catalyst prolongs the life of the elements and results in low power consumption. The sensor is certified ATEX II 2G EEx d IIC T6 and can be provided as a sensor only or fitted in an EEx e certified junction box.
