The HAWLE Universal Shut-off Tapping Saddle (No. 3800): Internal Thread is designed for under-pressure drilling on steel, ductile iron, and asbestos cement pipes. This saddle features a solid body and can be pressure tested from both directions. Its compact saddle body and favourable angle of contact ensure optimal force transfer of the strap screw connection. The saddle seal is specifically moulded to fit the pipe diameter and is prefixed in the saddle body for ease of assembly. All internal threads are fitted with a corrosion protection ring to prevent corrosion and incrustations. This saddle is rated at PN 16.
The HAWLE Universal Shut-off Tapping Saddle (No. 3800) is available for various pipe nominal diameters (DN) with internal thread outlets according to ISO 228 G, rated at PN 16. Please specify pipe material when ordering.
