The HAWLE Universal Pipe Saddle (No. 3500): Internal Thread is a versatile pipe saddle designed for use with steel, ductile iron, and asbestos cement pipes. It features a compact saddle body with an internal threaded outlet, ideal for drilling without pressure. All internal threads are fitted with a corrosion protection ring to prevent corrosion and incrustations, ensuring long-term reliability. The saddle seal is moulded to precisely fit the pipe diameter and is prefixed in the saddle body for ease of assembly. A flexible padded wrap-around strap ensures easy installation and optimum force transfer. This saddle is rated at PN 16.

• Saddle body: Made of ductile iron, epoxy powder-coated.
• Saddle seal: Made of elastomer, moulded to fit the pipe diameter.
• Nuts: Free-lying, Molybdenum-coated (stainless steel spherical bearings).
• Screws: M 16 stainless steel.
• Strap: Made of passivated stainless steel (strength 1.5), with insulating elastomer rubber padding.
• Corrosion protection ring: Made of elastomer, fitted to all internal threads.

Installation & Maintenance

• The saddle seal is prefixed in the saddle body for ease of assembly.
• The protective layer on PE pipes should be removed prior to mounting the saddle.
