The Hawle Hydrant No. 5185/5186: H4 Corrosion Free Hydrant is an above-ground hydrant featuring a break-away design and innovative "drop jacket technology." It is designed with non-corroding materials, ensuring long-term durability and a remarkable, clear optical design. The "drop jacket technology" protects the upper outlets from unauthorised use and weather elements. Upon unlocking, the plastic jacket drops downwards, revealing two individually lockable B-outlets. The hydrant head includes pressure-relieving shut-off valves. Simple locking and loosening of the drop jacket are achieved by means of a snap mechanism, and "shock absorbers" prevent the jacket from bumping hard. These hydrants are engineered for easy and quick repair of the break-away line, with spare bolts (No. 8841) conveniently stored in the hydrant head for rapid deployment. A safety bar for the spindle housing is included in the area of the break-away line. All inner parts can be easily exchanged without the need for excavation. The hydrant is designed to meet ÖNORM F 2010-EN 14384 and EN 1074-6 standards, with a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar.
