Features & Construction

• General metallic parts are made of specific brass/ductile iron components.
• Sealing rings are made of elastomer and floats are made of PE or POM.
• The body is made of POM (DN 1") or POM with an elbow (DN 2").
• The orifice and valve plug (DN 1") are made of brass.
• The valve seat (DN 2") is made of brass.
• The float is made of POM and the UV shield is made of PE.
• An insect protective grid on the 2-inch valve is made of stainless steel.

Installation & Maintenance

• Installation should be upright, preferably at the highest point in the pipeline, together with isolating valves.
• The valves are to be maintained according to usage conditions.
• The valve (a wearing part) is replaceable on the spot in a depressurised status.
• For DN 1" / 2" models, replacement involves: Demounting the safeguard ring, removing the cap, loosening the locking screw, and unscrewing the valve with a valve key.
