The EYECON STAR I from IPL group is a solar-powered, vehicle-activated, amber flashing device that provides enhanced visibility in all lighting conditions to approaching vehicles. Ideal for highlighting all road traffic signs and hazard zones, it is available as a single or double-sided unit. Featuring a low-impact design solar panel, advanced technology batteries (Absorbent Glass Matt - AGM), and a low-energy LED light array, the EYECON STAR I is designed to operate all year round. It is supplied complete with a 76 or 89 post top mount or 114 offset bracket, along with the PV panel, battery pack, and solar regulator.

• Solar Panel: 12V monocrystalline panel, with IK10 impact resistance, set at 22° angle. Rotationally moulded U.V. stabilised (UV8) black polyethylene moulding with galvanised steel support pillar powder coated black.
• Battery: 12V/9Ah Absorbent Glass Matt (AGM) batteries (quantity varies by model) mounted in post base or separate battery box, with 8-12 years lifespan.
• Regulator: High efficiency PWM regulator mounted with battery pack.
• Protection (Solar Engine): IP54 and IK10.
• EYECON Body: 250mm x 250mm deep, black or grey, medium density polyethylene, rotationally moulded, U.V. stabilised (UV8), 3mm nominal wall thickness built onto a steel stem Ø 48mm and 3mm thick CHS tube with pre-treatment & black or grey Polyester powder coat.
• Light Engine: Surface mount Amber LEDs with engineered narrow beam lenses that reduce unwanted side visibility. Integrated cowl reduces 'Sky Glow'.

Customisation Options

• Radar activation setting: 10 mph low/90 mph High default, customer selectable in 10 mph increments via an easily accessible rotary switch. Minimum and maximum activation speed can be programmable at time of manufacture.
• PV Panel size/wattage and Battery Pack quantities vary by single/double sided configuration.

Installation & Maintenance

• Installation: Supplied complete with 76 or 89 post top mount or 114 offset bracket. Further information and installation requirements are available from IPL group. Can be installed with a rooted base.
• Maintenance: Designed for low maintenance and operational costs, operating all year round. The durable materials and AGM batteries provide long life. Periodic checks of batteries and cleaning of the solar panel are recommended.
