• Maintenance:
  • Iroko Timber: Regularly wipe down with a damp cloth; use mild soap for thorough cleaning. Seasonal cleaning with teak cleaner is recommended. Oiling is optional but can enhance appearance and protection. Avoid harsh chemicals or pressure washing.
  • Powder-Coated Galvanised Steel: Clean regularly with warm water and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Touch up scratches promptly with RAL 9005 matching paint. More frequent cleaning in coastal areas is advised. Store in a sheltered area or use covers during winter.
  • General: Inspect all fasteners every 3-6 months and tighten if necessary. Check for wear or damage to welded joints and anchoring points. Remove debris regularly. Avoid dragging the bench. Any significant structural damage should be reported to IPL for assessment.
