The ColorPlus 2 In-line is an absorption measuring instrument designed for online measurement of colour and absorbance at up to three different wavelengths in the UV and visible range, either individually or in combination. Turbidity can be compensated for simultaneously by selecting an appropriate wavelength. The modular design of the instrument allows it to be adapted to various applications by choosing the most suitable measuring cell. In many cases, a standard housing such as Varivent® is used. Alternatively, custom-specific flow cells in different materials and designs are available. For inspecting the instrument, checking units based on reference filters can be easily inserted. Operation is intuitive using the intelligent control system SICON via touchscreen technology and colour display. Values, graphs, alarm, and status messages can be presented. An internal data logger allows recalling and displaying measured data from the last 32 days. A variety of analogue and digital interfaces enables smooth system integration and control.
