Product Overview

The CLA-VAL 90-CF9: Pressure Reducing Valve with On/Off Level Control is designed to reduce a high inlet pressure (P1) and to open fully (On) when the liquid level reaches a preset low level, and close drip tight (Off) when the level reaches a preset high level. An orifice is mounted on the outlet of the valve to prevent any cavitation and to control flow rate. As part of the CLA-VAL SERIES 90, this valve reduces a higher inlet pressure to a constant downstream pressure (Pressure Reducing Control) regardless of changing flow rate and/or varying inlet pressure. It offers completely automatic, simple, reliable, and accurate operation.

Installation & Maintenance

• Installation: The CLA-VAL 90-CF9 is typically installed to reduce a high pressure and to open fully when the liquid level reaches a preset low level, and close drip tight when the level reaches a preset high level. The Float Control may be installed at any elevation, provided P1 (pressure expressed in length) is greater than D (depth). The connecting pipe should have a minimum internal diameter of 20mm and a minimum slope of 2%.
