The CLA-VAL 49-01: Flow Control Valve with Pressure Reducing Valve is designed to reduce a high inlet pressure (P1) to a constant downstream pressure (P2) and to deliver a constant flow rate, regardless of changing flow rate and/or varying inlet pressure. It is typically installed where water to a system (such as small housing areas, industry, or irrigation) must be limited to a maximum flow rate and a maximum outlet pressure. As part of the CLA-VAL SERIES 40, it accurately limits excessive flow to a preselected maximum rate (Flow Control) regardless of changes in pressure or varying inlet flow. It offers completely automatic, simple, reliable, and accurate operation.
