Goal
By the end of this tutorial, you will understand the purpose of the four main navigation pillars to quickly locate assets, specialised analysis tools, and system settings.
Your Navigation Pillars
Start hereThe Watercore interface is organised into four main functional areas designed to help you manage your network efficiently. Whether you are checking live data, running specialised reports, or managing system access, these menus serve as your primary starting points.
The Devices Menu
The Devices menu is your central hub for monitoring asset health and data flow. In your deployment, this menu is organised into functional sub-sections:
- All Devices: Locate and view specific loggers across your entire estate.
- Alerts: Access "Alarms and Events", "Manage Device Faults", and external alarm forwarding settings.
- Organisation: View your network via the "UtiliCore Explorer", "Data-stream Groups", or the map view.
- Device Information: Run settings reports, build device-specific reports, or view "Live Comms Activity".
- Performance: Access the primary Dashboard, check "Message Counts", and monitor inbound communications.
- Analysis: View historical reports or trigger a new "Analysis Report".
- Import/Export: Tools for "Group Export" and uploading manual logger or CSV data.
